| |  |  | Dimensions depend on the type of rhododendron. Most labels state the hight at the age of 10 years. 
- Do you have a garden with limited space? Go for yakushimanum hybrids: this type grows to be about 1.20 - 1.50m high and forms a nice and broad solitary plant which becomes more and more beautiful. Moreover, you will not be confronted with any nude branches. 
- Most hybrids grow to be about 1.5m and 2m high. One rhododendron often grows into another one, which results in beautiful shrubs. 
- Some dwarf rhododendrons grow to be about 80cm high. 
In general, one might say that the smaller the leaves, the more compact the plant will remain. |  |  |
